Building community. Creating access. Opening doors.
Tiffany Jeffers founded the Black Empowerment & Community Council with a simple belief: our communities deserve access, resources, opportunity, and a seat at the table.
What began as a vision for stronger community connection grew into an organization that has brought businesses, families, nonprofits, civic leaders, and community partners together across Central Florida.
About Tiffany Jeffers
Tiffany Jeffers is a community advocate, nonprofit founder, pastor, wife, mother, and civic leader whose work centers around people and opportunity.
Her community leadership has focused on affordable housing, workforce development, entrepreneurship, youth investment, civic engagement, economic empowerment, and building stronger neighborhoods.
She has served across nonprofit, business, faith, arts, civic, and community organizations throughout Central Florida and believes deeply in collaborative leadership.
Her work reflects one guiding principle:
When community has access, community has power.
Tiffany continues to advocate for communities where families can thrive, entrepreneurs can grow, young people can see a future for themselves, and every resident has an opportunity to participate in the prosperity around them.

“BECC was built because I believed our community deserved access to every room where opportunity was being created. I am incredibly proud of what we built together, and I am even more excited about where BECC is going.
Strong organizations grow. Strong leaders make room for other leaders. This next chapter belongs to the incredible people who will continue carrying the mission forward.
I will always be BECC's founder, its biggest cheerleader, and someone who believes deeply in the power of community.
The work continues.”

The Vision Behind BECC
Tiffany saw talented people working hard every day who still struggled to access the relationships, information, funding, and opportunities needed to grow.
She believed the gap could be closed.
BECC was created to help build that bridge.
Under Tiffany's founding leadership, the organization developed partnerships and programs focused on economic opportunity, entrepreneurship, education, digital access, senior support, workforce development, and stronger communities.
Her philosophy has remained consistent:
Put resources where the people are. Build relationships that create opportunity. Make sure the community knows how to access both.
From Vision to Impact
Tiffany helped establish BECC as a trusted community convener and connector.
The organization has worked alongside corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, nonprofits, schools, entrepreneurs, community organizations, and residents to bring resources directly into the community.
BECC's work has included:
-
Small business education and economic empowerment
-
Workforce development and career opportunities
-
Digital literacy and technology access
-
Youth and family programming
-
Senior engagement and support
-
Community health and wellness initiatives
-
Financial education
-
Community events and resource connections
-
Partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies
Through these efforts, BECC has helped connect Central Florida residents and businesses to meaningful resources, funding, education, relationships, and opportunities.
Building Something That Can Grow
For Tiffany, successful leadership includes preparing an organization to grow beyond its founder.
BECC's next chapter is being led by a dedicated board and leadership team committed to strengthening the organization, expanding its reach, and continuing its mission.
Tiffany's Founder role provides space to champion the organization she created while allowing its leaders to lead.
She remains deeply proud of BECC's work, its partners, its members, and every person who has helped build the organization.
